AJuly 24 Explosions blast government buildings in Norway
According to TV2's sources, the arrested belong to the right-extremist groups in eastern Norway, and the man must have registered two weapons on their name ? an automatic weapon and a pistol of the type of Glock.

According to sources such as TV2 has talked with the bomb that exploded in the government building a fertilizer bomb.
Breivik will be conservative, Christian, and may have a connection to the extreme right environment.
The man owns a farming business in eastern Norway, and the man’s Facebook page says it listed that he has studied in Oslo Handel. His interests, according to Facebook profile, both involving hunting and bodybuilding.

Planning and meticulous execution is everything in Japanese soccer. So when the players fall behind in a game, there is a system to rely on, a belief there is a way back to victory.

As a result, the Japanese women are in their first World Cup final and
their quick passing playーwhich has earned them praise as the female version of Barcelonaーcould well pose a stiff test for the favored United States.

"We just paid a lot of attention and our coach told us to keep the ball low, not to play any high balls. That is what we did."
"Our focus is on ball control, on combinations, good passes, good team spirit. Everyone has to be involved.

July 13 Kim's contribution crucial to Pyeongchang's Victory

In a performance almost as dominating as the one that earned her the Olympic gold medal 16 months ago, South Korea's Kim Yu Na put on a show for the ages this week at the International Olympic Committee's meeting in South Africa.

Since she arrived in Durban last Thursday, Kim's every move has been closely followed by over 100 reporters. When her name was called to give the final presentation at the IOC's General Assembly six days later, members of the audience cheered and whistled, while scores of IOC officials
rushed to have their photographs taken with the young star.

Her final presentation to the IOC members was fantastic and done in nearly perfect English. It was a message that clearly resonated.

An IOC study found that 87 percent of the nation was in favor of the bid.

Apathy has no place in the Olympics, which bring us to the talk of Tokyo contemplating a bid for the 2020 Summer Games. As farcical as it is for Tokyo to consider this, especially in light of the fact the preceding Olympics will be held in a neighboring country, if it is going to bid, it should take a page out of Pyeongchang's book and try a new approach.

July 7 Sea mud rich with rare-earth metals
High concentrations of rare-earth elements have been found in deep-sea mud in many places in the Pacific Ocean. The presence of such huge rare-earth deposits could drastically change the situation concerning the highly preized minerals, which are used in a wide
range of electronics.
China accounts for about 97 percent of rare-earth production in the world. Due to scarcity, the prices of the minerals are soaring.
The mud does not contain radioactive elements, such as uranium. The rare-earth elements are readily recovered from the mud by simple acid leaching.

July 3 Diabetes looms as global scourge
Increased obesity and inactivity are the primary cause in developing countries such as India and in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
A huge burden of medial costs and physical disability lying ahead in this century, as diabetes increases a person's risk of heart attack, kidney failure, blindness and some infections.
Diabetes is a metabolic ailment in which the body is unlikely to rapidly or adequately move sugar out of the bloodstream and into tissues after a meal.

(In the study, each country's diabetes prevalence and average fasting blood sugar are "age-standardized" calculations. )

Each country is treated as if it had the same age structure of its adult populationーthe same number of people age 25 to 29, the same number 30 to 34, and so on. Age standardization allows researchers to compare countries whose populations have a high percentage of old people with countries with fewer old people.
The actual number of people in the world with diabetes, however, reflects not only the underlying rate of the disease in each age group but also the size and structure of the global population today.
Between 1980 and 2008, the number of diabetics more than doubled, from 153 million to 347 million.
About 30 percent of that increase came from rising prevalence of the disease in all age groups. About 30 percent came from population growth, since more people means more diabetics. About 40 percent came from the aging of the world population; diabetes is more common in older people.
