There are three Honshu-Shikoku bridge routes. This route is
the westernmost route of the three. It is officially named
Nishiseto Expressway, but it is usually called Shimanami Sea Route.
Kikuma is famous
for its kawara,
or roof tiles.
Imabari is the place
where the Shimanami
Sea Route starts.

or Onomichi

Namikata Town
Namikata is popular
with fishing, camping,
sports events and so on.
Hojo is the next city to
Matsuyama and
it takes 30 minutes
by train.
